I got the call, a call I had dreaded for a long time and that I hoped I’d never get. The message I was hearing turned my soul and stomach inside out. It came in while I was driving down the main street of our little charming home town of Issaquah, WA (approx.. 10 miles east of Seattle). As I was receiving the news from my friend, I almost went off the road as I was taking it all in. It felt equivalent to having cancer go into remission 5 years prior, and now I was being told that it’s back and growing prolifically. Chuck my attorney, told me the news and I could hardly drive at this point to where I pulled into an office supply parking lot, in an attempt to finish the discussion. A discussion that was mostly one way as I just sat and listened. As the call ended, paralysis was literally sinking into every part of my being. I wept for about 5 minutes as the tears eventually went to no more. I remained in this state of paralysis for another 45 minutes, not being able to think as I sat there in my misery.

Each podcast will feature a different real life story with victory that will take you from the brokenness and depths of despair to the path of  triumph and success.  Overcoming serious or even harrowing experiences as you will come to know through Tears of Wisdom, changes ones perspective in dealing with  more everyday obstacles in life, especially when in pursuit of an important or major purpose. We trust by listening to our stories, your challenges as well, will become welcomed opportunities for growth and accomplishing whatever purposeful objective you are pursuing. Success and triumph comes with the right attitude and invincible heart, that comes from often from going through the fires of life.

You will hear from courageous people that have dealt with cancer, sometimes more than once, as well as other major illnesses; kidnappings or growing up dirt poor...One actual example, is a man that narrowly got he and his family out of Beirut Lebanon during the intense war period of the late 1980's, and as if that wasn't enough, only to later be up in one of the Twin Towers in NYC on the day of 911, and survive; or a kidnap victim from Colombia that survived after a year of hell, and many more.

The greatest takeaway in these shared experiences, will be listening to the triumphs and victories that follows. You will notice over time what all of these sage warriors have in common...great strength, positive character and true  grit! They will inspire you to be better and thrive, and know that you can go after life as well as overcome whatever challenges might come your way....The Stories will be Powerful, the Impact will be yours to Benefit from...
